YELLOWSTONE DESTINATION CANDLE
Yellowstone, America’s first national park
Known for its wildlife and its many geothermal sites, Yellowstone boasts half of the world’s geysers and hydrothermal features. It is home to a variety of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, and free-ranging herds of bison and elk. The Yellowstone Park bison herd is the oldest and largest public bison herd in the United States.
Use It Again!
Not only are you able to experience the wild forests of Yellowstone with this candle, your hand-made vessel can now double as an espresso cup, a taste tester for new drinks, or a small planter for succulents!
The Grand Prismatic Spring
Yellowstone National Park’s Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hot spring in America. The first records of the spring are from 1839, when a group of European explorers and surveyors made note of a “boiling lake”.
Geologists named it for its distinct coloring when they noticed its similarity to the colors in an optical prism rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. These colors inspired our mug!
