It's Official... We are ADOPTING!!!!

Holtz Family is Growing Again!!

The Holtz Family will be growing again... We have made the decision and have been approved to adopt. We hope to be landing on the shores of Costa Rica 🇨🇷 soon.  We started this adoption journey over 2 years ago and now we are in the final stages...

Coleen's had a heart for adoption since she was a teenager and my heart became passionate about 5 years ago after watching Les Miserables.  Not that a movie changed my heart but it was more or less the straw that broke the camels back...  Honestly, the LORD had been working on my heart for awhile and that movie broke down the last barrier in my heart.

WE HAVE A HOME.

It has been amazing watching the LORD prepare our hearts and a home for adoption.  Coleen and I have moved too many times to count in our lifetime and we finally have a place to call home.  It will be a place to raise many children & grandchildren.  A place for our kids to be wild & free, exploring the outdoors with inquisitive imaginations.

A quick tour of the new barn home...

Just wanted to post a word of encouragement. We have our ninth child on the way and it seems like when you tell people that they are always asking, “do you know this family that has eight or that family that has six?” That being said your family name has come up several times and while visiting Lincoln Village a few weeks ago I stopped into the store. I have known Andrew for several years and his wife was the receptionist at our chiropractor for quite some time so it was great to see and hear from them. I had trouble deciding on just one item and will definitely be back for gifts in the future. You were mentioned once more in conversation yesterday so I looked up your site and started reading a couple of your blogs. I love that you and your wife have a heart for adoption. God calls his church to defend the widows and orphans and there is no greater way of immersing yourself into that work than through fostering or adopting. May God bless you and your family as you walk this decision out.
