We meet some of the funniest people at shows. A few years ago, we met one of our favorite customers. She was an older lady who came to our booth looking for a gift for her boyfriend who happened to be a judge... We knew instantly she needed our Whiskey Barrel Fly swatter. As I was telling her the handle was made from the staves of Tennessee Whiskey barrels she started licking the handle...
Our first trade show in 2016.
Her best friend who was standing close by yelled out, "Don't Lick it Linda!" She replied, "I've got to get my jack somehow..." The entire booth area erupted in laughter. Now every time we sell a fly swatter we can't help but think of our good friend Linda. It's true that all our Millworks products are made from the barrels of that Lynchburg distillery but you don't have to lick it to get your "Jack".
